FLOCK HOUSE
ANNUAL RE-UNION. The re-union of Flock House trainees has been favoured by fine weather and military training under the direction of Captain Sugaen has been carried out each day. Excellent health has been enjoyed by the 175 boys in camp. Yesterday, boxing bouts were indulged in and the finals were staged to-day prior to the soccer match with St. Andrew’s Club. Last evening a concert party, the members of which are Mr and Mrs John McKnight, Mrs Lillian Brooks, Mrs Len Freeman, Mr Dudley Davis, Miss Potakaand Mr Geo. Farr, contributed an excellent programme, which was much enjoyed by all present. The accompaniments were played by Mrs Percy Coyle. At the conclusion of the performance Captain Sugden thanked those who had helped to entertain the boys. It is expected that the training will conclude on Monday night and a soccer tournament, and sports will occupy the boys on Tuesday and Wednesday. The Palmerston North Municipal Band is to visit the camp- to-morrow when a drum-head service will be held at 11 a.m., Padre Duncumb officiating. The band will render an open air programme at 2.15 p.m. when, itis anticipated, local residents will take the opportunity to be present.
