STOCK MARKET. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Palmerston North, report having a large entry of sheep and a moderate entry of cattle at their Feilding sale on Friday. There was a keen demand for prime fat sheep and for good hoggets the latter selling at advanced prices. Quotations: Light fat lambs, 18s lid to 20s 7d; prime fat wethers, 31s 10d; cull ewes, 5s 9d; empty ewes, 8s 2d to 9s Id; forward empty ewes,-15s 7d; cull lambs, 7s; cull 2-tootlis, 11s to 11s 9d; empty 2-tooth ewes, £1 to £1 Is; w.f. lambs, 16s 3d to 17s 7d; rough 4-tooth and 6-th. ewes, 163 7d; medium 4-tooth and 6-tooth ewes, in lamb Romney rams, 22s 3d; aged ewes in lamb, 11s to 15s Id; store cows. £1 to £2; backward dairy cows, £3 7s Gd; young bulls, £2 15s. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Coy., Ltd., report: At Mr W. J. Boyden’s dispersal sale there was a good attendance of the public. Bidding was spirited throughout and an' exceptionally good sale resulted :-2-tooth ewes in lamb S.D. rams, 28s lid; 4 and 5-year do., 22s Id; 2-tooth w.ethers, 27s 6d; b.f. 2-tooths, 22s lOd ; fat lambs, 22s 10d; small lambs, 7s 6d. The whole herd of dairy cows averaged £8 12s 6d. Best cows, £lO 10s, £ll, £l2, £l4, to £l6;. good cows, £7, £B, £9 to £10; backward calvers, £0 to £6 10s; three-quarter cows, £2 10s to £5 15s.
