HASTINGS TRACK NOTES. Per Press Association. HASTINGS. June 22. The weather was fine for training operations on the Hastings track this morning and the going was good. Polar alone went half a mile in 50 1-5. Crishna covered the sumo distance in 52. Royal Diadem and Olympic ran six arid a-half furlongs in 1.26 2-5, the last three being done in 40. Little River and Braeman went well over once round, in 1.44, Little Jtiver finishing well. Mouiit Clyde, Polyastra and Guanaco did a good working gallop over once round, in 1.47 2-5, finishing together. Vivo and Jubilee together covered five furlongs in 1.5 1-5, Vivo going the best. . - Homo Brew, Arch Salute and Birthmark were companions once round the pony hurdles.' Arch Salute jumped fairly well; Birthmark hit the last fence, losing his rider. Multive (Baker) and Velvet King (Eager) started off over big country. Velvet King ran off, Multive going on alone and jumping carefully. Velvet King was tried later, but ran off continuously and was not persevered with. Omahu (McDonald) and Landbird (Bowden) were companions in a schooling over the steeplechase course. Landbird ran off at the first of the double fences, Omahu gave a faultless display. . Lark Hall (Rennie) alone jumped big fences carefully. Nuluimai (Bowden) and Uncle Dave fMason) started off at the hen-coop, but at the first fence of the double, Nukumai fell heavily, Uncle Dave continuing alone and jumping well. Merekara (Wilson) and Bronko (R. E. Thomson) went once round over hurdles, the former finishing in front. Both jumped well.
