BABY’S DEATH.

SHOCK FOLLOWING BURNS. Per Pross Association. TAURANGA, June 22. Allen Graham Rawlings, aged ten weeks, died in hospital from shock following burns to tho Hugh from a hot water bottle. His mother is a patient in the hospital. A sister took the baby from the mother and put him to bed. The sister did not notice the hot water bottle, which had been placed in the bed by a probationer. The baby cried in the night. The sister stated that the baby was healthy and she attached no importance to tho cries. The sister was alono on duty and. was extremely busy. She discovered the baby in a low condition, and it died in her arms.
