FARMER’S PETITION. A potition in bankruptcy has been filed by George Ellery, farmer, of Bulls. His statement of assets and .liabilities shows that debts amount to £3OB 0s Id, and that assets consist of furniture (£45), gig and harness (£ls) and cash in bank (£2 8s sd), a total of £62 8s sd. There is thus a deficiency of £245 11s Bd. The creditors, all of whom are unsecured, are as follow: IV. Kearney £3 16s 6d, Dr Watson £1 11s 6d, Ralfo and Archer £9 11s 2d (all of Bulls); Nicol Bros (Sanson) £1 2s 6d); Cameron estate (Palmerston North) £291 18s sd.
