W.C.T.U. [From Our Own Correspondent.] The monthly meeting of the local Women’s Christian Tomperanco Union was held in tllo Methodist Sunday School room on Thursday afternoon. Mrs Macdonald presided and tho meeting was opened by hymn and prayer. As it was “White Ribbon Day” a moat interesting paper was read by Mrs Clirystall on the “White Ribbon.” Mrs Mnodonald also read an interesting article. Throe new names wore given in. Tho meeting closed with the Benediction.
