BILLIARDS.
y.M.C.A. BEAT R.S.A. Four B members of the It.S.A. Club visited the Y.M.C.A. last evening to engage in a friendly billiards match, but they found the home quartette all too strong on their own tables, the victory resting with the Y.M.C.A. players in each instance. Following are the detailed results, Y.M.C.A. members being mentioned first:—Rattle 100 beat Bee 59; Hollier 100 beat Wright 96; Brace' 100 beat Morgan 68; Hunt 100 heat Trueman 73. Totals: Y.M.C.A. 400, R.S.A. 296. R.S.A. CLUB.
The R.S.A. Club conducted its weekly billiards tournament on AVednesday evening when 16 members participated. A 10-minutes’ handicap billiard competition engaged the attention of the players, .the termination of the series finding E. Bee the winner with J. Smith second. The third placing was not decided and four members will play off at their convenience to determine the placegetter. The highest scratch score for the evening was returned by C. AVright who compiled 66 in one of his games.
