SHORT WAVE TESTS ENDED Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, June 11. The Press Association has issued the 1 following statements: — ' Tho New York Times has ceased its short-wave radio test. Mr Shrimpton, of Wellington, who has picked up the broadcasted news, and supplied it to the Press Association, has received the following message from Mr Meinholz, manager of the New York Times: “Please accept our personal thanks for hearty co-operation shown in long-distance short-wave tests just concluded. Starting with this message, wo will not be on the air for 4 a.m. GMT, except on Sunday’ mornings from 4 a:m. GMT to 7 a.m. GMT. We hope we can keep the same line up 1 and exchange greetings weekly.”
