PROPOSED RADIO TESTS.

BRITAIN AND AUSTRALIA. LONDON, June 8. In the House of Commons, Sir Archibald Sinclair asked whether Mr Fisk’s offer to conduct two-day wireless telephony tests had been accepted, and if not, why not? The Postinaster-General replied : “I have communicated with the Australian authorities and I understand that the Australian Amalgamated Wireless Company lvas not a station capable of undertaking radio-telephonic transmission, therefore the experiments arc impracticable. The company offered to receive record strength experimental transmissions from Rugby. I welcomed the offer, but unfortunately these have been suspended owing to the coal troubles.”—A. and N.Z. cable.
