MANDATED COUNTRIES.
DECISION OF THE LEAGUE. Received June 10, 12.40 p.m. GENEVA, June 9. The League council endorsed the opinion of the Mandates Commission in regard to the question of the military recruiting of the inhabitants of mandated territories outside such territories and requesting the Mandates Commission to consider the views of the mandatory powers in regard to the definition of the terms concerning the liquor traffic and to inform the council before September of such conclusions as it may reach.—A. and N.Z. cable.
