GREYMOUTH, April 10. The Greymouth Jockey Club’s meeting is being held in dull weather. Thero is a largo attendance. Results : HACK HANDICAP, of lOOsovs; six furlongs. Uleaborg, 8.12 1 Deep Drive, 9.0 2 Hallownoon, 9.7 3 Scratched: Rapid Rose, Hiero and Jumella. AVon by a length. Time, 1.17 4-5. HURDLE HANDICAP, of 110 sovs.; 1£ miles. North Inch, 9.0 1 Tenterfield, 12.0 2 Blue Hall, 10.10 3 Scratched: Cashman and Lord Leslie. Won by half a length. Time, 2.50 2-5. FURTHER NEW ZEALAND PURCHASES. Received April 10, 11.35 a.m. SYDNEY, April 10. At the yearling sales New Zealand buyers were active. Mr J. Lowe purchased a Trillion— Eudorus filly for 60 guineas; Mr' A. O’Donnell a Kenilworth—Geticus gelding for 90 guineas; Mr T. H. Lowry a Grey Monk—Chlorito filly for 360 guineas. On account of Mr Lowry, a King Mark-Parley colt brought 130 guineas; a Lord Quex —Miss Cute filly brought 120 guineas.—Press Association.
