Smith have returned to Feilding from a vlaifc to Dunedin. Tonight the local branch of the Reform League is entertaining Mr Smith at a smoke concert when a presentation will be made to him in recognition of his services during the recent election campaign. Good entries are being roceived for the mixed foursomes which will mark the opening of tho Feilding Gplf Club on Saturday. Tho president, Mr Leslie Gorton, is presenting a trophy to tho lady and gentleman returning the best scoro against bogey. As the Way mouth Stars are also to bo competed for on tho same day, an interesting comnetition should result. The- annual match with Belmont has been fixed as usual for the King’s Birthday, June 3rd, nnd tho return match will bo played in Feilding on Saturday, July 11th.
