(From Our Own Correspondent.) the annual sports meeting of the Amateur Athletic Club the following handicaps have been declared: — 100 yards handicap.—Lourio 6yds, Rosoman 7i, Bray, D. Scotney 9£, Hitchen'lo, Johnston, Worsfold, Heard 11, Duthie 12. 220 yards handicap.—Lourio 14, O. Scotney 15, ftosoman 16, Bray 18, Hitchen 19, Johnston 20, Heard, Lysaght, Guard 21, Worsfold 22, Duthie 23 880 yards handicap.—o. Scotney scr, Sowerby 30, Kerridgo 40, Rosoman 50, Poole, Lysaght, Spackman 70, Simpson, Malcolmson, Groombridge, Gibsone, R. Scotney 80. Twp-milo handicap.—Godfrey scr, Sowerby 60, Kerridge 130, Poole 220, Spackman 285, Groombridge, Malcolmson, Simpson 285, R. Scotneys Robinson, Gibsone 290. Mr and Mrs V. E. Smith have returned to Feilding from a vlaifc to Dunedin. Tonight the local branch of the Reform League is entertaining Mr Smith at a smoke concert when a presentation will be made to him in recognition of his services during the recent election campaign. Good entries are being roceived for the mixed foursomes which will mark the opening of tho Feilding Gplf Club on Saturday. Tho president, Mr Leslie Gorton, is presenting a trophy to tho lady and gentleman returning the best scoro against bogey. As the Way mouth Stars are also to bo competed for on tho same day, an interesting comnetition should result. The- annual match with Belmont has been fixed as usual for the King’s Birthday, June 3rd, nnd tho return match will bo played in Feilding on Saturday, July 11th.
