LONDON TO CAPETOWN. LINKING AIR FORCES. CAPETOWN. March 24. The four Royal Air Force machines which aro following Captain Cobliam’s route from Cairo to Capetown aro duo at Buluwayo on Saturday and at Capetown on Ajrril 4. The object of this training in longdistance flying is to establish connection with the Union Air Force. Throughout Europe 26 landing grounds are being maintained by different countries, and a nino days’ flight from London is now practicable. Between lvlrartoum and Ndolo (Congo Free State) the airmen flew through continuous dust-storms.
