SENIOR CADETS IN CAMP.

At Trentham a camp is at present being held for senior cadets, officers and non-commissionod officers in the Central Command. Tho camp is under tho charge of Alajor O. H. Mead, D.S.O. Captuin It. C. C. Steele is adjutant; Lieutenants E. It. Petrie, S. V. Sugden and A. H. L. Sugden are on the staff; and Sergeant-Major Collins, N.Z.R.S., is quartermaster. There are thirty territorial officers and fourteen staff-sergeant-majors of the N.Z.P.S., in addition to 273 cadet units, in tho camp. The Y.M.C.A. is under the chargo of Air V. French, who officiated as padre on Sunday last at the religious services.

An innovation at these camps is a hospital established in one of the hutments, under the charge of Dr. Kemp, while Sisters Young and Lea look after tho patients. The battalion staff comprises Captain A. L. Moore (Taranaki Regiment) ; second in command, Captain H. J. Thompson, M.C. (WellingtonWest Coast Regiment) ; A Company, Captain G. F. Bertram (Taranaki Regiment) ; B Company, Captain G. G. Hancox (Wellington-West Coast Regiment) ; C Company, Captain A. W. Duprose (Taranaki Regiment) ; D Company, Captain F. J. Carter (Hawke’s Bay Regiment). Tho camp will break up on Saturday.
