PURCHASES IN IRELAND
Received January 25, 10.15 a.m. LONDON, Jan. 24. Tho newspaper weekly Dispatch states that Mr Michael Beary lias been commissioned to buy troop horses in Ireland for the Soviet cavalry to tho value of £60,000, paying from £4O to £6O each, payment "to bo made after the sales of tho stocks of Russian flax now in London warehouses. —Sydney Sun cable.
