SCOTTISH FOOTBALLERS.
TAPPING OF RESOURCES. Scottish professionals are in great demand for English Association football teams this season. Already English clubs have spent between £20,000 and £25,000 for some of Scotland’s best players, and it is expected that before the New Year this sum will have been increased heavily as several important transactions are pending. Never has there been such a demand for Scottish aid—the best in the British Isles. This wholesale tapping of her resources will bo reflected in Scotland’s international matches and is causing concern to clubs also.
