BUTTER WEAK; CHEESE QUIET. Dalgety and Coy., Ltd., report having received the following cablegram from their London house under date of the sth instant: —Butter: Market weak and very dull. We quote: New Zealand salted 210 s (2145), Danish 218 s (218 s) ; Australian finest salted and unsalted 202 s (2065). Cheese: Market quiet. Canadian spot 118 s, c.i.f. 113 s. LONDON, Nov. 5. The butter market is very dull, buyers still holding off. New Zealand choicest salted 210 s per cwt, unsaltcd 2125; Australian salted 200 s, unsalted 2045; Danish 2165. A. and N.Z. cable. BRADFORD WOOL MARKET. Received November 7, 8.5 a.m. LONDON, Nov. 5. The Bradford tops market is firm, but there is only a small amount of now business. Quotations: Sixty-fours 54-)d per Tb, 60’s 49d, 56’s 36d, 50’s 2SJd, 48’s 25d, 46’s 24d. —A. and N.Z. cable. LONDON HIDES SALES. Received November 7, 8.5 a.m. LONDON, Nov. 5. At the hides sales prices were firm. A few Australians were offered but none were sold. Prices were nominally unchanged.—A. and N.Z. cable. COLONIAL AND OTHER PRODUCE. Received November 7, 8.5 a.m. LONDON, Nov. 5. Wheat cargoes are .3d to Od per quarter easier, on lower American advices. Parcels are in fair inquiry, with a similar decline. Liverjrool futures: December, 10s 72d ; March, sellers, 10s 2d; May, 9s 10Jd. Spot trade is slow. Australian ex store, about 545. Flour is steady. Oats aro slow. A Cartons, 33s to 345. Blue peas are in good demand, but Tasmanian and New Zealand aro rather neglected owing to their indifferent quality. Tasmanian, 360 sto 400 s; Now Zealand, 340 sto 3605. Maples are steady. Tasmanian, 80s to 83s; New Zealand, 75s to 775. New Zealand beans, 44s to 4Gs.—A. and N.Z. cable. Beef was yarded in average numbers at the Westfield (Auckland) fat stock sale on Wednesday. There was a good demand Nid srd.es were effected at late prices. Extra choice ox sold at £2 6s per 1001 b and prime young cow and heifer beef from £1 16s to £2 cs. Sheep were fairly keenly sought, although penned in slightly smaller numbers, and were mostly shorn. Heavy prime shorn wethers made from £1 16s 9d to £2. Spring lambs were penned in much larger numbers and prices ranged considerably lower. Heavy prime sold up to £1 14s. Values for pigs which came forward in good numbers were again reduced. Extra heavy choppers, sold up to £5 ss, and heavy baconers from £4 4s to £5 2s. Store pigs were offered in average numbers, large stores making up to £2 12s.
