BURSTING OF A DAM
DAMAGE BY THE WATER. ONE FAMILY MISSING. (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) Received November 4, 9.10 a.m. LONDON, Nov. 3. The North Wales Power Company's supply dam at Dolgarrog burst and 180,000,000 tons of water poured down the hillside. One family is missing. Hundreds of sheep and cattle were drowned. Houses were torn from their foundations and destroyed. Streams of rushing water 40 yards wide tossed great boulder; about like corks.—Sydney Sun cable. SEVEN BODIES RECOVERED.
