MINE TRAGEDY.
GERMAN WORKERS KILLED. BERLIN, Nov. 1. Seventeen miners were killed and several were injured by an explosion of fire damp in the Holland pit of the Phoenix Company at Gelsenkirchen.— A. and N.Z. cable.
