WAR IN MOROCCO.
ATTACK ON FRENCH REPULSED. Received July 20, 10.35 a.m. PARIS, July 19. A Fez message says that Marshal Petain has arrived and has begun work with the General Staff. The enemy pressure on the central and northern front is palpably slackening. New attacks on the Ainnastouf and Ainaicha posts were repulsed with heavy loss and there were no French casualties. The air force is busy reprovisioning the stations and * compelling the assailants to flee precipitately. The first detachment of the Moroccan division from the Rhineland has arrived at Oujda.—Reuter.
