A bad accident marred the Grand Prix, Three horses, Coram, Faraway and Aquatinte 11., ridden by F. Bullocks Allemand, and Donoghue respectively, fell. Bullock and Allemand walked away, but Donoghue was carried off unconscious. A surgeon who attended him states that it was a touch and go. Artificial respiration was necessary to restore consciousness. He has an injured shoulder and many contusions. He is now out of danger, but will be unable to ride for several weeks, and possibly for months. Bullock was badly shaken, but not seriously hurt.—A. and N.Z. cable. PARIS, June 28.
