CONDENSED CABLES.
The following representatives have been appointed to the Imperial wireless committee : —Sir Joseph Cook and Mr Mason Allard (Australia), Sir James Allen and •Mr John Milward (New Zealand), Messrs J. G. Cameron and Nigel Paton (India), Messrs J. Smith and H. Penrose (South Africa) . After the rejection of a series of Liberal and Labour amendments, in the course of an all-night debate, following the time-worn fiscal controversial lines, the House of Commons adopted the McKenna duties by 186 votes to 67. The Daily Chronicle’s Paris correspondent says M. Painleve told the journalists he was flying to Rabat in order to discuss with General Lyautey the best means for dealing with the arrogance of Abdel Krim. He would probably be away four days. The executions of General Belavin, Ivanoff and Madam Nina Krzeezkovska have been suspended. Recently a military tribunal at Kieff sentenced to death members of the anti-Soviet organisation, “Russia for the Russians,” headed by the ex-Gzarist General Belavin. Ivanoff was an official on the staff of the Ukrainian Red Army; Nina Krzeezkovska was the intermediary.
