PAUCITY OF “GENTLEMEN” PLAYERS.
LONDON, May 30. The Evening News says: “Now Gilligan is resting it is doubtful if he could conscientiously includo any amateur in a representative England eleven. It is extremely difficult if we could find a Gentlemen’s team to give the Players even a moderate game in 1925.’’ The paper suggests that Duleep Sinhji should be included in the Gentlemen’s team.
