Messrs W. A. Waters, W. L. Cutten, 11. Stubbs and 11. Stohr were visitors welcomed at 1/ i duy’s meeting of the Rotary Club.

Rotarian 0. T. Salmon has been appointed secretary of 'the Rotary Club, in place of Rotarian H. E. Bennett, who expressed a desire to resign some time back. Mr C. G. Porter, captain of the All Blacks, was given a hearty welcome home in the Wellington South Schoolroom on Saturday evening. The gathering, which took the foiiu of a dunce, was arranged by the eommitt“e and ex-scholars of the school (of which hi was one). It was announced at to-day’s meeting of the Rotary Plub that cards had been received from three sister Jinglish organisations stating that Rotarian J. Wallace, of Palmerston North, who is at present abroad, had received a welcome from those bodies.
