COAL OUTPUT.

NEW SOUTH WALES RECORD. SYDNEY, Feb. 5. The coal production in New South "Wales for 1924 constituted a record compared with any previous year. The production amounted to 11,618,216 tons, valued at the pit mouth at £9,589,547, being an increase over 1923 of 1,139,703 tons, valued at £981,655. The highest tonnage recorded previously was 10,793,387 in 1921. The total output of coke for 1924 was 564,362 tons, valued at £932,926, being a decrease of 16,012 tons, valued at £8397, compared with the previous year.— Press Association.
