■LONGBURN DEFEATS TAKARO. A team from the Takaro Club journeyed to Longburn on Wednesday afternoon to try conclusions with the latter club and after an interesting afternoon's play, which was productive of some keen contests, victory rested with the home team by 10 sets and 85 games to six sets and 68 games.
