(From Our Own Correspondent.) The final round of the triangular contest will bo played at Shannon to-morrow. The following havo been selected to represent Foxton:— Winstanley. ihomson, Huntley, Rooro (skip); Walker, Pearson, Christie, Smith (skip). Mr and Mrs Guy Thynne, of Tonmarunui, have been spending the holidays with Mrs Thynne, sour., and ut the seaside. Mr and Mrs Thynne return by motor on Thursday. ' A local bee-former, who makes a study ot the moon's phases as concerning weather conditions, states that during the next three weeks we will experience changeable and overcast weather conditions. TENNIS. Last Saturday, at tho local courts, a match was played with tho beach visitors, Foxton winning 11 sets, 95 games, Beach four sets, 71 gomes.
