GARDEN PARTY.
CONVENT FUNCTION. \ garden party in aid of thsMiiiids of the Convent was held this afternoon in the school grounds. The stnlls and stallholders were as follow :—Flower stall, Miss Oakt»v; produce, Mo-sdaiiios Hickey and J. Casey and Miss Bartlett; fithey, Mesdames Ouglov and P. F. O’Connor; lavender, Mrs Goring-. Johnston ; dolls, Mrs Pane; sweets, cakt?«s ice cream and soft drinks, senior "iris; tea rooms Mesdames E. G. Sim, G. Healey, P. Baldwin, Boniface and O’Kane. There was a Christinas tree on the lawn ludcn with gifts for the juveniles, while sundry competitions and games were conducted about the grounds during the afternoon.
