TECHNICAL SCHOOL.

CONCERT AND PRIZE GIVING YESTERDAY. The end of the year concert, with presentation of sports and swimming certificates, in connection with the Technical School was held yesterday. Mr J. A. Nash, M.P., chairman of the Technical School Committee, presided. Thero was a largo attendance and the entertainment programme was keenly enjoyed by pupils and parents. During an interval the chairman briefly addressed the assemblage, congratulating the pupils on their work during the past year and wishing them and the institution all success in the future. Seventeen swimming certificates relative to last season and a large number of certificates won at the school athletic sports held recently were presented. Musical and elocutionary items were contributed as follow: —Pianoforte duet, Dorothy Bodell and Iris Quirko; pianoforte solos, R. Reichembach, Joyce Mawhincy, and J. Paul; violin solo, R. Morgan; ukelele solo. W. Aperaliama; vocal solos, Helen McConnell; Catherine Blackwood, and Enid Doull; recitations, Mollie Cadle, S. Davidson, A. liaselden; dances, Jean Lampard, Ethel Rush; dialogue, Joyce Mawhiney, Florence Walker, and Jessie Mclntosh; boys’ and girls’ choruses,
