DIXON CUP. In a match for tho Dixon Cup on Satin--lay, Ma.-terton were successful in retain11tr the trophy, after a very keenly con‘.osted game with a Pahiutua rink, which riuleil in a tie —20 all. The teams were: I’ahiatua: P. Bisset, Britlaiii] (2), Bissett; Masterton, Nielsen. Kwinglon, MeCaklcn, Hunt. On the last head Pahiatua required two to win, and when the skips went down, Pahiatua lay one and a measure for two. Bisset drew the kitty with his first, making- Pahiatua three up. Hunt attempted a running shot but missed. Bisset with his last put in a block. Hunt, however, was equal to the occasion, and taking the open hand drew a beautiful second shot thus leaving Pahiatua one up and the game a tie.
