PUNISHMENT FOR CRIME.
SENTENCES AT GISBORNE. Per Press Association. GISBORNE, Dec. 6. At the Supreme Court sentences were passed as follow: —Una Cornelia Seal, false declaration of ago in connection with a marriage certificate, ordered to come tip for sentence when called upon : Clarence ’J ivofield Waiglit, bigamy at Auckland ordered to ,come up for sentence when called upon; Basil Goodson Breeze, aged 19, theft, two charges, three years in the ilorstal institute ; Nini Tuutua, indecent assault, three years in gaol and two years reformative treatment; George Delvin Byford, receiving stolen property, two charges, two years on each charge, sentences to bo cumulative.
