CIVIC’ DISPLAY AT WEMBLEY.

LONDON, Nov. 26. Major E. A. Belcher, assistant general manager of the British Empire Exhibition, hopes to reorganise the civic hail section of Wembley, and is inviting Sydney, Melbourne. Wellington. Auckland, Capetown, Durban, Ottawa, Toronto and other cities to participate in a ten days’ display of municipal, industrial and housing resources. Up stated that the English cities had found that their participation in 1924 had been an excellent means of establishing business connections with the Dominions. Hitherto the Dominions’ propaganda in Britain had mainly been connected with land attractions, arid it had ignored the developments of the chief cities, which in some respects were ' superior to European cities. The display would enable them io attract capital for manufacturing developments, besides allowing a comparison to be drawn with other cities of the Ein pile.
