NEW RECORDS MADE. Per Press Associat'd. AUCKLAND, Dec. 8. At tire Motor Racing Club’s meeting the results were as follow: Auckland Handicap, six miles.— Coleman (scratch) 1, Shakespeare (25 secs.) 2. Time, 5.10 2-5. Won by half a wheel. Five Miles Handicap.—Williamson (25secs) 1, Woodman (scratch) 2. Time 547. Great Northern Handicap, 12 miles. —Moller (TUsecs) 1, McCready (55 secs). Time, 10.4 S 2-5. Australasian Junior Championship, 8 miles.—Woodman 1, Jones 2. Won easily. Time 7.41 3-5. Coleman subsequently, despite a heavy shower, cut one-iiith of a second off his own world’s mile record of 4 1 3-ssees. Woodman lowered the 350 C.C. grass track record of Dawber by two seconds.
