WHEAT HARVEST.
NEW SOUTH WALES CROP. MUCH ABOVE THE AVERAGE. Received December 2, 9.10 a.m. SYDNEY, Dec. 2. The, Morning Herald’s special representative, after touring the central wheatareas, reports. that the Harvest), while not eclipsing- the record, will bo substantially above, the average. He considers that many of the reports in regard to the damage by hail, wind and the effects of disease have been considerably exaggerated. While disease' was found in individual crops, there was no evidence to show that it was widespread. Yields of 10 bags to the acre were quite common in the central west, while the three leading crops in the championship competition were estimated to yield 40 bushels, to the acre.- 1 - Eress Association.
