AIR AIASSEY’S STATEMENT.
Tlie secretary of the Chamber of Commerce, Air \Y. McKenzie, lias received a letter from tho Prime Afinister, the Rt. [lon. \Y. F. Alassey, in reply to a. resolution forwarded by the Chamber in connection with the Now Zealand Court at the Empire Exhibition. Air Massey, in his letter, states that although letters criticising the New Zealand Court at Wembley have ’ een given prominence in the Dominion press, he has received a number of letters from Homo which speak highly of the Court and which siato that the Dominion display is quite satisfactory. However, the Premier noted the resolution forwarded by the chamber and assured iis members that no efforts would be spared to ensure that the New Zealand display was thoroughly worthy of the Dominion.
