OLD BUSINESS SOLD
A rather large, transaction took pleace early this week,' when Mr Charles Dahl, on behalf of Messrs C. Dahl and Co., Ltd., dairy machinery merchants, Palmerston North, disposed of their long established business, including stock, plant and agencies as a going concern to the National Dairy Association, Ltd., of New Zea Land. Mr Dahl will for some time still be associated with the business at Palmerston North. Mr Dalil has been in Palmerston North fur a quarter of a century or more, and the business in question was started in a small way on the site of the present premises in Main street, and during the intervening years has been greatly extended. Mr Dahl has been Home four or five times in connection with the firm’s business securing new agencies from Denmark and elsewhere. He may again journey overseas to arrange further agencies for the purchasers. The firm has consistently exhibited at and supported the Manawatu and "West Coast A. and P. Association’s shows since their inception.
