Fine but cloudy weather prevailed for the second day of the Hawke's Bay Winter meeting, when the sum of £16,567 was put through the machine as against £15,805 lust vear. The total for both days was £33,905, compared with £32,412 last year. Additional results:— Ladies' Necklace, li miles.—Good Mark 1, Asleep 2, Empyrean 3. Also started: Convention. Won by a length.
