UNUSUAL POINT.
RAISED IN SUPREME COURT. (Per Preai AsaoaUtiou.) WELLINGTON, June 9. An unusual point formed the basis of an action commenced at the Supreme Court to-day. The question raised related to the rights of certain residents of Muritai to hold a title of land, part of which had been formed by accretion from the sea. It was contended by the Eastbourne Borough Council, the plaintiffs, that originally the land had been dedicated as a road and that it was, therefore, vested in the borough. Any such dedication was denied bv the defendants, who contended that the land was vested in them and their predecessors in the title.
