MANY POLICE CONCERNED. THIRTY-EIGHT OF THEM SHOT. Received Mav 7, 9.20 a.m. HONG KONG, May 5. The police force of 38 Chinese who were concerned in the recent piracy in Hong _ Kong waters on the steam launch" Kwangtak were shot by the Chinese authorities in the Heungshan district.—A. mid N.Z. cable.
