The men will leave Southampton on March 26 ill ah amphibian machine similar in appearance to Sit' Ross-Smith’s, but of a more modern type, with fittings and spare engines at Tokio and Toronto.— Sydney Sun cable.

ESTABLISHING FLOATING ISLANDS.

The air service from Toulouse to Cusablanca will shortly be importantly extended to Dakar and later across the Atlantic to Pernambuco,- enabling a flight from London to Buenos Aires. The company is establishing three floating islands in the Atlantic, being immense rafts anchored in mid-ocean and equipped with aerodromes and hotels. —A. and N.Z. cable.
