Dr. Spahli tiger lias not yet accepted the proposals, but Sir James Allen is hopeful that a satisfactory arrangement would be reached. “When I was Defence Minister,” said Sir James Allen, “I saw so much tuberculosis that 1 d< cided to help along any possible cu -e. I -am anxious that New Zealand should be freed of tuberculosis. If could also tell the world that its cattle were free of tuberculosis the effect upon the dairy industry would be trenendous.”—Sydney Sun cable.
