DEMPSEY-FIRPO FIGHT.
LEGAL ENTANGLEMENT. NEW YORK, Sept. 5. The Dempsey-Firpo is threatened with a legal entanglement. Harry Wills's manager has secured a New York Supreme Court writ, asking Mr Tex Richard to show cause why tho championship battle should not bo prohibited. Wills claims he has a previous engagement with Dempsey under which the champion consented to meet him.—A. and N.Z. cable.
