BOWLING AND FIELDING.
LONDON Sept. 6, Sporting Life in reviewing the cricket season, says Yorkshire's triumph teaches the lesson that good bowling and clever fielding will alway win. "We have not yet unearthed a really first-class fast bowler. The fielding, with a few notable exceptions, has not been satisfactory, and unless there is an improvement in this department we shall be severely handicapped when we meet the South Africans and and N.Z. cable.
