The interior of the building had been converted into a fairy bower, the decorations of festoons of mauve and gold streamers with lycopodium radiating from a central chandelier shaded with the same colours giving a delightful appearance. The capacity of the floor was fully taxed and extra seating accommodation .was provided in a marquee adjoining one of the side doors. The organisation, which left no stone unturned to make the function a memorable one, was composed of the following gentlemen:— Messrs G. Corbridgo (president), S. A. Patton, J. Smart, L. H. Thompson,. W. Littlewood, C. H. Edwards, W. T. Royal, P. S. Rabone, T. H. Swaney, P. Cunningham, T. Parnell, G. H. Trott, B. Marsack, J. Wright, W. Barling, and G: B. Flint (secretary). Mr H. Cook supervised the decorations.

During the course of the evening a display of fancy dancing was given by several pupils ;of Miss Tabor, which was greatly appreciated.
