ASHHURST.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) Good work is being done on the Palmerston road,' the. Oroua county's scarifier, traction engine, road-roller, grader and motor lorry being kept busy. The lambing in this district so far tins season is very satisfactory and very fair percentages are recorded. Although there is not the same quantity of green feed in evidence as at this time last year, the dairying season is in full swing and the cooperative factory is very busy.
