POHANGINA.

Beetham respectively, crashed into each other. Approaching a bend in the road from opposite directions, and both unaware of the other's proximity, the two cars met while rounding the bend _ Mrs Cornfoot, who was with her husband in the car was thrown out on to the side of the road among the fern, and was therefore most foTtunate in escaping injury. J\o one else received any injury, but both cars were considerably knocked about although the damages received were not of a very serious nature.
