Thomas Henry Jones, accountant, Dannovirko, secretary of the Arcadia Picture Company, who voluntarily surrendered to the police at Talcapau yesterday, appeared in Court to-day charged with failing to account for the sum of £34 6s to the Picture Company. lie was remanded till to-morrow. The police said that the accused admitted defalcations of between £4OO and £SOO. 1 lie actual amount would be unknown until the audit was made.
