BRITAIN PAYS FOR SILVER.
BIG CHEQUE FOR ll's.A
VANCOUVER, May 20. The repayment by Britain of 30,500,000 dollars due for war-time purchases of silver, is announced by the United States Secretary to the Treasury. As required by law, the payments will lie applied to tho withdrawal of third Liberty Loan bonds.
