PRIEST ARRESTED

LONDON, May 19

A field marshal's baton was discovered buried in the masonry of one of the columns of the Veden,sky Cathedral in Petrograd. It was made of solid gold and adorned with 110 large diamonds and emeralds. It is valued at 4,000,000 gold roubles. The chief priest, Bobrovsky, has been arrested by the Soviet on a charge of concealing" church treasure. The baton is believed to be that presented by Alexander the Second to iiis brother, the Grand Duke Nicholas, in 1878.
