MURDER NEAR NAPLES.
ENGLISHMAN THE VICTIM,
WIFE SERIOUSLY INJURED
Received April 2, 11.36 a.m. ROME, March 31, Mr Robert Goldie, the British ViceConsul at Naples, and Mrs Goldie when visiting a grotto near Naples were attacked by an unknown man. A desperate struggle followed and Mr Goldie died from Ins injuries. His wife was seriously injured, The murderer-escaped.—A. and N.Z. cable.
